In the end of 2014 MTA issued series of 4 metrocards to celebrate 110 years anniversary of the opening subway lines in New York.

All cards are double sided with front of all 4 cards is the same:

On November 21, 2014 MTA celebrated 50th anniversary of the opening Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. For this occasion new metrocard has been issued.

MTA celebrated opening of Fulton Center essentially subway hub on Fulton and Broadway with 2 double sided cards.

They were distributed around Fulton station and were giving out to participants of opening ceremony alone with special edition of metrocard holder.

MTA team up with Brooklyn NBA Nets to issue double sided card. Card was mostly distributed around Barclays center where Nets are playing home games.

Two new metrocards feturing advertisements from Youman, Madeo & Fasano, LLP with offices in New York and New Jersey. Both cards are double side advertisements. Both cards are only in Spanish. The first card features radio talk shows on different station about immigration. Second card on the back listed addresses of law firm offices.

In May 2014 MTA introduced ‘Select Bus Service’ on route M60 in Manhattan. It allows customers to pay for the ride on the bus stop rather than in the bus itself which suppose to speed up boarding of passengers. The first one was in the Bronx for route Bx12.

MTA made another metorcard about Bus Time feature of its web site now available in every borough. Previous metocards were reflecting introduction in the Bronx (Bus Time the Bronx).

This set contains of 2 metrocards one in English and another in Spanish.

These cards were re-issued almost every year with variations of fonts, logos and text of instructions.
